Up to three garments. Includes condition observations, recommended scope, a starting estimate, and intake instructions. The fee is credited toward approved work of $300 or more within 30 days.

Up to ten garments. Includes prioritized recommendations and a phased estimate. The fee is credited toward approved work of $750 or more within 30 days.
No garment should be mailed before intake instructions are confirmed. Photographs may establish whether the request appears suitable, but construction, lining, trim, previous repairs, and fabric stability often require closer examination before final pricing.

Materials, specialty findings, lining fabric, trim, return shipping, insurance, taxes, travel, and outside conservation services are additional when required. Accepted rush scheduling is generally 25%–40% above the approved labor estimate. Minor embroidery stabilization is not museum textile conservation. Historically significant or structurally unstable textiles may require referral to a qualified conservator.
